Adnan Akmal, is third brother from Akmal family who have played domestic cricket in Pakistan. Adnan made his first class debut at age of 18 just like his brother Umar who also made first class debut at such young age. He is a natural wicket keeper but he has always been left out of international side due to his brother Kamran who was always first choice for wicket keeping slot but due to inconsistency performance behind the wicket for couple of years selectors showed faith in Adnan by selecting him for his first international series against South Africa in UAE where Zulqarnain Haider left the team just before 5th and final ODI against South Africa at Dubai Adnan Akmal, is third brother from Akmal family who have played domestic cricket in Pakistan.
